Default .JS and .CSS effects? help

Ok so on my site that I have asked so much help and questions on allready I have yet a new problem arise. In my portfolio section it is supposed to be able to click on a thumbnail and an effect darkens the page and an animation opens the box with the full picture, It is very common yet hard to explain. I hope you know what Im talking about, well its not doing it, its only opening in a new browser window like the old school way. can anyone help me figure out why my site wont do this. thanks again. you are my saviours!!!!!!!

By looking at the of your document, it doesn't look like you've linked any js to the page.
