Default Layout and Printing from MS Word

I've been doing this for 17 years and for the first time I'm considering printing (on press) documents created in MS Word. So - apart from 'run away' and 'don't do it' and 'are you freaking nuts' - do any of you have any experience with printing to a press from Word and what are the pitfalls?

The colours won't match pantone's as they'll be is MS RGB pallet.

oooo - you just talked me out of doing this in MS word. I had no idea it couldn't support a CMYK color model. I have about 15 2 page docs that will have to be recreated in InDesign - fun fun fun.

Thanks for the info and thanks for the welcome! :-)
