Need opinions, critique on my design

Yeah don't be afraid to be a little harsh, it might sting a little but it's probably what I need.

I'm designing a site for a client, it definitely is much more risk taking on my part. There were some paragraphs and words, but I blocked them out, the content might offend some people, and it's not done yet anyway....

So, I have the basic design on one. I know for a fact that I need to slightly tone down the header graphic, but I do like it being a darkish black, I don't know if I need to lighten up on the tint a little, or add like some pretty vector graphics in the empty space to offset it.

Also, 1 big concern of mine is the log, which for now is a simple vector of a guy looking toward the sky. I'm going to switch that one out, and change it with the same one, but slightly modified. I'm attaching all files, please tell me what you think.

Should you really be taking on jobs that some people might be offended by? it could be really detrimental for your company.

na, it's not that controversial, I just wanted for this forum to moreso focus on the design, rather than the words IN the design. Let's just say it has to do with popular issues. But seriously, what did you think?

Yeah that is what I was thinking, but it has to be done in a way that is more conservative. This is for more of a serious subject matter kind of website, that is basically why I am stumped at this particular moment. I also figured that maybe I just might make like a couple of divs, like 5 or 6 of them, that are basically just divs with filled in color, and just distribute them around the page.

I might just be thinking about keeping it like that also, it has a nice simplicity to it, which makes the text and everything on the page stand out that much more. Also the colors pop much better in the copy I have, than the copy you see.

I was also having my doubts about the logo too, I don't know exactly how good that is going to scale, I might have problems with that when I make a favicon, but then again, I can pull something similar to what many sites do (including this one), and make a whole different icon for a favicon....

Let's see, what else....

You know what? Honestly it looks simpler than most websites I have ever seen, but I really have to say that I like it the way it is. Anything else I could possibly add would probably be extraneous. Plus it looks better with the text not blocked out.

I was thinking also, in the upper right hand corner, to really make it pop, I could have like 15 guys there, like closely knit together and standing strong (almost like a 3 muskateers, but with like 11-15 people. Take the height of the banner, go about 40 px above and below, that is where they would be positioned. And have either a light blue stroke of all of them (outline), or just make white silouettes out of all of them, with the stroke being the same as the banner, that way it divides them, but blends in with the banner).

That sounds like a good idea to me, all I need though is to find like 11 good quality pictures and cut the guys out, that is going to take me literally like 5 days to do that........

anyways, let me stop this rant. This is how my mind thinks, scary huh?
