Default Just Wanted a Few Opinions ...

I've been working on this CSS graphic design for my web site, and I recently had trouble with it when I viewed it through another laptop computer. As you can see in the screenshot below, the design is very dark. On my pc monitor the design look great, however, on the laptop it looked faded and was hard to see, while my lighter designs looked fine. I'm not sure whether the problem was just the laptop's brightness settings or if the problem is with the image. I'd really appreciate it if a few people could tell me what this screenshot looks like through their monitors.

[EDIT] I noticed the link loaded slowly, so .... yeah:

I personally think that the white text is too high contrast and the red text is too low contrast. The logo is fine though.

Pete. :)

Thanks, I guess I'll tweak with that a little. But the contrast is good overall isn't it? Like I said, that laptop made it pretty hard to see. Anyone else have an opinion ... ?

Calibrate both monitors. That's the most probable cause.

Overall, the contrast is fine in my opinion. However I do believe the smaller red type has some legibility issues especially on the right. I agree with what was stated above regarding the white type to the left, it could be a slight gray.

Its to do with the colour profiles on the monitors. As said above they need to be calibrated and also the Gamma has to be adjusted.
