OK guys please help coz its driving me crazy trying to find a solution.
Im trying to 'print screen' from an mpeg video and put into photoshop. yet when id o that i never seems to print screen properly in photoshop. Ive tried taking out the 'use overlays' in Windows player as some suggested but still no avail. photoshop seems to take it live - so if ive pasted my print screen into photoshop and shut down the video - it disappears from photosho too?? any ideas on how to fix this? |

Is it mac or PC?
Not too sure about PC's but mac's can have some security measures on capturing certain videos

Sorry if I sound a little PC thick here but have you tried any capture programs like MW Snap or anything similar?

nope nothings changed apart from getting the new CS3 package. If i print screen the video into powerpoint and other paackages it does the same. i can drag the layer around yet it seems to have the video picture as an invisible layer underneath that doesnt move. all very strange?!!

I can't be certain but I wouldn't be surprised if this is for security reasons I'm sure they'll be some kind of hack before long if this is the problem.

I had a weird anomoly like that once... the easiest wayI got around it was to printscreen and paste inside MS Paint--> save the file--> reopen the file in Photoshop.
Sounds too simple but it worked for me.
