Need help with a banner
I've tried many times and can't seem to come up with anything. I feel that a good banner often makes/breaks a website b/c it is the first thing a user sees. In my situation i believe my banner is no good.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Website to match: Principle Web Design : Your solution for custom web design * i will most likely be changing the nav soon as it is to bright and doesn't match the site well, so do not worry about matching that. Size: 716px x 1 69px Color Scheme: #edf5fc #e0effd #003366 #f17e17 Animation: Optional Text: Principle Web Design or Principle Website Design Optional Text: Design Tailored For You The rest is up to you, and i really do appreciate your help. I doubt anyone is going to MAKE a banner for you. I will offer some suggestions though....
Start by coming up witha logo. Every good designer should have one. Its just another way to show off your talent. Your site has a lot of boxes and seems very flat. Why not try andding some patters or texture into the header? Also, check this place of for some inspiration

nice idea, the first white ring looks slightly heavier than the blue which i'm not sure about if done on purpose. Other than that nothing sticks out too badly

I'm still working on it but i am done for the night. I think i'm going in a better direction but we will see.
