Need help with a Soccer logo/crest.

I just took over as the Head Coach for the boy's soccer team at the school I graduated High School from. We have had different logos/designs for a lot of years now and with taking over, I want to give the kids something to get excited about and basically a 'brand' we can use in our program for a lot of years to come.

I have asked around some, but professionals want to charge me a ton of money when we are a small school and are really looking for someone just willing to help a team out. Our budget is not really one where we are able to pay for a soccer crest to be created, but if anyone is willing to help I would really appreciate it.

At the very least...a shirt or something with the design on it would be coming your way.

Anyways, our colors are red (primary), yellow, white, black. The only thing I want in it for sure is the 'S' from the following picture as it is the S we use for some other sports at our school. Also, maybe the word Soccer. We are the Sentinels and SHS is our schools initials.

Once again, any help would really be appreciated.
