You did the right thing by changing the background to say what it did, but what if he had downloaded it and then just uploaded it elsewhere, you wouldn't have been able to do that. Put a copyright on it somewherethat shows your website.

Unfortunately most people think that because they can grab these off of free sites that yours is free too.

I also checked that link and it looks like they took it down.

Yeah, he got back to me and said it had been taken down - but it was still up. His profile was set to private, but somehow using the link I had would allow you to visit it. So when I said I could still see it - he got scared and apologised over n over n over...

So :] I did what people suggested to me and I added a copyright and a creative commons logo on it - for peace of mind if that.
