nope, i'm seeing navy blue bkg and i suppose the text sections haven't got a dark beigey green colour either then

As it's layed out not its 800x650... but I think what I am going to do it go with a 100% width and maybe fluid the first two columns and fixed right (actual content yet to be determined)..

Ian, I changed the gray to a darker gray.. #222222 (more velvet like)

i also think the background is a bit blue, but only slightly, it is predominantly grey/brown

thanks.. all layered out now. Anyone else have anything ..negative or positive? I was thinking of losing the tabs up top.. if I take em out.. leave the header the same space?

And Ian, Carrot, I think your monitors are showing too cold. Honestly, those are two of the truest richest grays out there... #252525 & #222222.. pull up your editor and type em in and check it aggainst the chart.. otherwise don't know what to say or do about that, but those are gray.
