Default A fully compliant XHTML + CSS Shopping Cart?

Does it exist.. does ANYONE know????

Am I the only one being requested to design a shopping cart site?

OK. looking for something that sticks to the same design principles as my basic XHTML + CSS sites.. only I want to add a shopping cart feature on it. Maybe even a solution to let the site owner update their own products images and information.

Is that too tall a tale? I prefer minimal PHP, or database design.. if I can help it. I really want to keep this totally in house.

hmmm.. looks interesting. Have you tried it?
I was going to try to design a whole system using Plone.. then I got all sorts of negative response from other users on it.

Other than outsourcing this end of the project I'd like to hear what other designers are doing. Russ, I thought you were the big Joomla fanatic??

yeah thats right.. mambo. I believe they were the same at one point.

Anyhow.. I went through that entire FreeCSSCart site... nothing. They haven't actually made it yet and don't intend to anytime soon it looks like. They have an option to sign up to be notified if it ever does become available.. bummer. I was actually pretty excited... for a minute

There are some out there Tommy... depends on if you want to pay or not? Also the only other thing is to build something a little more bespoke for yourself that you can use over and over again....
