I have to say you walked into that one. No-one who pays $400 for 30 mintues work would have a free website (myspace), a free email account (G-Mail), D.I.S (free music advertising), a myspace blog (free), and I'm sorry but even a free wiki doesn't seem to want to play ball.

A tag has been placed on TTNY Records, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I'm sorry but get bent talking about designers here, you must be about 19 or something to even own a myspace site, what's the matter the web design forums told you where to go and all. I tried to be professional in the other thread, but f*ck off $400, go back to your freebees and waste away. I'll look out for your label.

See I don't really understand this. Where in my original post was at all confrontational or impolite?

All I asked for was someone to work with us on a project. What's so hard to understand. Either people were interested or they weren't.

You are coming across as very stupid, IMO. You do realise that 99.9% of bands and record companies in existance have MySpace pages? Red Hot Chili Peppers. Yes. Nickelback. Yup. The Beatles. Yeah. So TTNY Records has a MySpace page. What exactly does that prove?

We do not use only free websites. We have our own domain names, www.ttnyrecords.com and www.ttnyrecords.co.uk (not free in case you're struggling), e-mail addresses, imc@ttnyrecords.com and all of our staff have their own e-mail. I don't see what's "cheap" about that, my friend.

Paying for advertising. Hmm, yes, we do that. Check out any of the UK Rock channels on Sky TV. Check out any rock magazine (Kerrange, Rock Sound, Classic Rock, Mojo, NME...). Cheap? No, didn't think so. Get your facts right. You have no right to cast assumptions about a company that you have no knowledge about. It's immature and pointless.

If you were at all in the modern age, you would realise that there are indeed OTHER forms of advertising too. YES, this includes forums. We have one staff member who's job it is to post in various forums, chat rooms, etc... Not cheap either.

Anything else you want to throw at me? And yes, look out for our record company. We have a launch show at The Peel in London on 13th June and our debut CD is released there (check out the reviews in the UK newspaper supplements and magazines). That's all.

Um, at no point did I say $400 was UNREASONABLE. We ended up paying $450. We are happy with the result.

They're f*cking myspace sites my 6 year old cousin has one, FFS don't give me the ******** about the Beatles have a myspace, myspace is free advertising nothing more, nothing less.

If you're a record company you should have your own, the bands have them because they're up and coming, you talk s*it, show us the website or get the person on here that you paid to do the job, give us a bit of proof?
