Suggestions?

I designed and manage this site as a donation to a local swim team. I would like to make it look a little nicer, but don't want to spend too much time on it as it is a donation. Any suggestions for improvements?

I would say get rid of the green and possibly replace it with a blue? It's a bit garish at the moment, gives me a sore head!

Blue was actually the original color of the site but it was changed to green to match the team colors (green and gold).

i think you can keep the green and gold but simply subtle - if you went with a lighter, whiter site with clean subtle use of the green, you can build the same scheme.

Think of it like decoratign a room 0- you can make it green, without painting the walls a solid bright green
