Motion Graphics
Hi all i was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a motion graphics animation coz i have gone blank and can't think of anything to do it has to be something you think i could probs do so has anyone got any ideas? and also has anyone got a website that has free 3d models i can animate into the animation coz as prewe just suggested i could do a tv breaker.

yeh i'll do a tv breaker for bbc but have you got any 3d models or something like that i could use or a website with free models so i can instantly import them into ae

oh. i don't think i do.. it's kinda hard to just import models without animating them using the ae-scene and make it look good.
don't get on with 3d in ae before you've learned to properly animate 2d :)

yeh im just trying to think of something i can do in the breaker coz im having a hard time i've got the logo but i don't have anything to do with it lol

why not go for the ident thing? could be a great learning projects (and portfolio piece) for you.
1. Come up with a logo and name for a tv channel - by being something made up, you'll be less inclined to use existing stuff. define the channel, what it shows and maybe make up different channels under the same brand. Complete its branding. start in black/white and then move to colour. (skills tested in illustrator) 2. Layout the whole brand and show how it might change from different mediums - and then think how you take it forward. now youcan make idents/websites/ads etc (skills tested in photoshop/illy/indesign/dreamweaver and whatever else you want to use)
