After Effects Style

Can anyone possibly tell me how to change the style of adobe after effects seven from grey to black because i have seen both grey and black so i know it can be done i just don't know how lol can anyone help

sheesh, why don't you focus on getting good at one thing first, for example illy, photoshop, flash or ae. and the gray vs black look of ae should be your last concern.. it doesn't matter what color it's in, just learn it.

..and i'd stick to just focusing on design before trying to animate it if i were you

Alex I appreciate your inate need to know how EVERYTHING works. A gifted mind and personality will always seek out the whole answer. Keep it up..

I would avoid posting all your questions here, it seems like you are going to get grilled for your curious nature. Stick to the tutorials.. go to Adobe.com and walk through the steps, page by page, project by project. One of these programs will jump out at you and you will immediately "get it" if you get frustrated, step back and assimilate the information.

If you want to work with the Web, here are a couple nice tutorials. One of them is by Gordon Mackay (of gordonmac.com) this ridicule is probably why he doesn't post here much. Its a shame because there are a lot of good adults out here that would probably be willing to contribute more of their years of business knowledge.

Those will get you going. Several have working files and art already prepared that you use in your tutorials. Good Luck man and keep at it, you'll get it.

lol... ok point well taken. I did notice that myself.

I started seeing him turn up on SitePoint, where his stuff turned up like he was hiring somone to help him. Then I saw that his company was a design company which I thought was odd.

I had kinda kept a distance on the subject.... but like I told him (politely).. just learn the sh*t and keep your mouth shut. THEN come back and talk shop.
