oh wait nevermind, but if you do have any ideas feel free to tell. And i'm just doing these designs for fun and to see what the school thinks of them.
Okay, so I want to have some design ideas for my new school's logo. The school is an arts school, and includes dance, band, art, film, animation, singing, piano, guitar, and a bunch of other things to do with the arts. Any idea on how it should be set up or what to include in the logo? Oh, and the school's name is Connections Academy.

P.S. My mom is also designing some too, but if i ask her, my designs will look similar to hers.
Thanx~~![]()

My advice would be to work on the word 'Connections' think of text and images that link together or chains that link and then use the music, dance and art themes to give an impression. The first thing that pops into my mind if I was doing the project would be dancers that are linked.
you may want to try developing something along the lines of connections but all the multiskilled environment. Lots of schools have crests, so maybe its making a crest like shape from the connecting forms of instuements, paintbrushs, film reels, musical notes and and thing that says the arts.
I think of a simple ink stamped one-room schoolhouse outline perhaps with an old painters palette behind. Incorporate the various arts & academics into the palette.
If I were you Beth, I would go for silhouettes. Yes, that is right. Then you could cover all of the activities your school is involved in. I love silhouettes. Here is something I did using silhouettes to capture a teen-culture show...
