A design I'm thinking about

Hey I'm looking for a new design for a site of mine and I've encountered withe this site recently, that offers different kind of venture capitalist observations, and I thought why not use the same layout and style., please take a look and tell me if you think it's possible to design something like that with using a tutorial.

Since you are not too sure of having that as a career and you want to first test how you feel as u wet your feet, i would suggest enrolling in a regular univ. and taking some art classes and seeing how it goes. That's the best way. And u don't really have to declare ur major immediately as well.
Art Institutes..yes they are expensive and they get over quick too - classes are more concentrated. But a univ degree will be more expansive and i figure u will learn a lot of good basics while dabbling in various mediums.
I did my bachelors n masters in another subject (not art) but i have always loved art. I really WISH i could turn the clock and did my bachelors in art or some art-related degree. Or even masters. But I didnt and I regret now. But now I am considering an art institute coz they are shorter n more concentrated. But ideally, I would go for a proper univ degree. Esp at the stage u are at, you have time on your hands too.

If you want a blog for your own domain, try WordPress. You can look at the selection of premade themes and tinker with them to get an idea of how they work. You can take a look at theme frameworks at Theme Frameworks WordPress Codex and design out from there.
