Hey Kylie..as much as I hate to get back to the question .. ;-)

What did you end up going with? It sounds like you are pretty dialed into Adobe... Do you use any of the Macromedia (now Adobe) products?

I had for one reason or another always used Macromedia for web. It was was my general philosophy in the beginning to only use Adobe for Print and Macromedia for web...

As a result I became far more proficient in Freehand (which is now falling to the wayside for me).

Now that they have joined I am very interested in the new CS3 tools on the horizon. Let me know how this is coming along for you.. Illlustrator, etc, or what you chose to persue.

Your Avatar confuses me.. I see that and read "James"...

Yeah it kinda brings to question the whole concept of "Experienced" Member..

I've got both CS2 and Macromedia Suite.... but to be honest, I've always had photoshop and its taken me a long time to get to grips with that - I did an internship at a web design company called Recollective a few years ago, and the shortcuts I have learned there have been a lifesaver, but there is so much more to learn.

Having to come to grips with Illustrator and Indesign atm... but its going well... just can't believe how different the programmes are though... and the fact that some things just don't do what you want them to!

Havent decided on the final logo yet - I've just had someone come on board with me, and we are going to give all this a bash together, have to see what his ideas are too.....

ohhh I see.. well good luck.

Kinda where I was going on this was eventually to try to justify CS3, I suppose... I wanted to see what other peoples opinions are in their daily life with the issues that come from learning new tools and the work they produce in that process.
