Default Display Issue and Nav Loading Issue

Hi there,

I posted my question on another forum and was referred to you site. I'm having a display issue with my new site. Specifically, the problem seems to be in Ie6.

The site is: http://www.teeschneider.com

On Firefox and Netscape, my site appears nicely (at least the versions I've tested this far), but on IE 6 the background shows up as a different white than the bacground white of image based content. So my header, my nav bar and any photos I have are surrounded by white borders on what appears to be a slightly pink background in IE 6.

Also, on the Demo page of my site:

http://www.teeschneider.com/demo.html

The nav bar often has trouble loading. I assume because it is trying to load the flash video files first and has some issues doing it. Is there anything I can do to ensure that the nav bar loads properly?

Thanks in advance,

Tee

One thing I can notice on your demo site is the images that make up the bar a little large they're about 67kb you should be able to get these alot lower using save for web in photoshop or imageready this will help the speed that it loads.

hrm. I thought I had optimized everything. I'll check the nav bar again. This colour thing is driving me crazy.

I'm humiliated to admit that the display issue was coming from a display setting that was selected on this computer before I took it over. I'm an idiot!
