New Logo Design

What's so funny about the heart/diamond logo is that I got the idea while driving somewhere and told my DH (dear husband) about it and it was the first one I actually designed. Who knew.

For me the second on toon selected. not a fan of the white outlines on text. Much clearer on 2nd one.

The one at the bottom is the best i think; all good for a days turn-around

while the winged one looks very nice and clean, i do like the one the client picked better. for a couple of reasons. as someone mentioned already it looks like a biker logo of some sort with the wings and just having one heart there doesn't really give me the impression of a poker tournament. i didn't know it was for poker til i read the last line in logo...

the one the client picked with diamond framed heart is nice. the diamond pops and combining it with a heart wrapped around the text is appealing. not many things use diamonds and hearts so it was pretty easy for me to realize that this may have something to do with cards.

the diamond/heart icon is a strong design element though and has a lot of potential through design collaterial I'd say.
