I think that the majority of people probably use Photoshop here in all honesty. Why don't you try asking a question in a group like this? Someone there may know since they all seem to love their PSP.
I have been using just about every tool that can be used in Paint Shop Pro Photo version 12, however I have not been able to get masks to work as advertised. Does anyone know of som published examples using masks in a variety of ways? Google research on this subject has not produced anthing concrete. Most of the replys reference Photoshop, that program is a very good program but unable to aford it since my use of graphics programs and web sites are not for making money it is for somethng that I enjoy to doing in retirement.

I followed your suggestion, I have noticed that those who use Photoshop are pretty narrow minded. I have used both in the past but find Paint Shop Pro ver 12 to be much easier to use much less frustrating and a lot less expensive for the masses and does just ablut everything that photoshop can do. One of the manuals I have for studing masks in one of the version, don't recall which one but that discussion on masks was about as clear as mud.
Thanks for your infput, have joined the other group to see what they offer, and what I can offer. Since no one here wants to hear from people usiing PSP I will not be back.
