just need some opinions

It's nice, but it doesn't say much ... A logo must sent a message

This logo doesn't speak well of the product. What kind of cruises? What's special about them? Those are questions the business owner will be able to answer, and help you narrow your design choices to a logo that fits the need.

Some tips: Spread the name of the logo as far as the Ocean underneath. Logos be-speak of names, so the name is what is important. Also regarding names, try not to put the name in a gradient color. It will be hard to read once it is put on marketing material, and especially hard to translate to clothing labels.

You are off to a great start with the choice of colors.

Try designing in black first before you touch colour and grads

too much grads, use them slightly

your sun rays do not appear to be straight, clean up that vector a little.
2nd, the sun rays kinda look like candy corns with that harsh gradient.
3rd. the distance between the sun and its rays is one thickness, the distance between the water and the sun is a different thickness, i would make those the same.

To me it says MSPaint. It just lacks substance. The concept is ok though.
