Drop it. It looks out of place. It's a too dark for the area it's in and becomes too much of a focal point. Just leave the subtle image viewer in.

No title needed really, you can tell what it is and what it's there for. I don't mind it on all posts really, I don't think it takes away from the posts at all.

I would keep it on all pages and remain at the top, like you said it's a form of navigation incase one of them catches someone's eye so it needs to be at the head really. It's one of those things, when you have more images on it will add more variety to what the user views. Tops for me

I've moved all the js into an external files, added some more logos, nearly 30 playing at random now.

Any thoughts on the speed. One the speed on the loading, of the images viewer and the site as a whole and also the speed of the transitions, should they be longer, shorter ???
