I actually like the blue you posted later as well. The reason I picked the first one is because it makes the logo a 2 color while still looking like a 3 color logo. I also really like the 2nd one. But that green is one of my favorites to design with, so I may be partial to it because of that.

The 2nd one has impact but when i saw it the first thing i thought of was ireland, so unless its for something to do with ireland id say the blue one
