Which is the best way to present a logo?
I see some with a relatively light radial gradient, and some with just plain white backs. I'm assuming white is the most "formal" way to present. One white(logo) and black background. and another completely opposite? When does the color one come into play? and whats the best way to present it? Also, here are a few concepts for a general contracting company. if you could give me your opinion and feedback i would appreciate it. http://www.jeremywisecup.com/misc/NDmesalogos.jpg *not final scale Last edited by noant; 22-07-2008 at 11:28 PM. |

Those are some great looking logos :)
I usually present it with a slight radial gradient myself as I feel it just gives it that extra professional/classy look. With the colour variations, I usually make them a lot smaller to showcase multiple variations at one time. I have a variety of examples on my portfolio site if that helps. But yes it depends entirely on the logo and what you think compliments it without being too distracting. |

I always put mine on a grey grad background unless it is needed on a specific colour, you can see some here....

In context: On a letterhead. On literature. On the side of a van. In a website layout.
Presenting the logo where and how the logo would be used shows the design is relevant and the designer is thinking about end results. This tends to short circuit some of the off-the-wall suggestions and criticisms without similar context. Last edited by D856C; 23-07-2008 at 10:47 AM. |
