banner/logo help for long assss name

So me and my girlfriend decided to co-author a blog, cool i guess, something we can both do togethr in our spare time when either of us is traveling or what not.

Anyway so, she chose the domain name, as with anything she always gets the final say :P it's ok, i allow it, i am the great buddha so its cool with me

Now coming up with a 'logo' for this domain or at least incorporating the name in a banner is proving to be pretty tricky, it's a long bloody name, Just A girl and a Guy

yep, Justagirlandaguy.com (i know, some of you are shaking your head...but if it's going to make her happy who cares)

Any ideas? concepts? I have 'almost' given up, after maybe 70 shots at it. Gah!

The background to the banner is #B2D0E8 and the size funky at 870x235 just to give you a better idea of where this is to fit for a more accurate concept and what not
colors i mean, doesn't matter those can be played with...

So anyway, this is where i'm at so far, pathetic i know. The two solid bars below that are for the navigation so meh....shoot ideas my way, concepts, whatever to help guys, id appreciate it :)

Hmm tricky one but can be done well, Im thinking of having the title centered the text a darkish color with "Girl" pink and "Guy" blue then next to it or where ever looks best have a logo with a girl or a guy or two figures one pink one blue holding hands or have them some way connected. That should be quite good.

Hmm not bad, yet intresting with a fun side to it, What is the site about?

Nothing at all, and everything, depends what we feel like blogging about. We're both into website marketing, photography and design to some what extent. I guess it will be more 'seo' oriented but it'll all be a bit more on the creative side, one blog shared by 2 people, with similar interests yet completely dif ways of doing um?

We're doing this for fun, and if anything productive comes out of it, then cool

Right ....with cases like this you can either shorten the name, or use pictograms which would be my choice (with subtle supporting type)

You could have 'just a' and the girl/guy written one above the other with a line equal to the stroke weight but to be honest I think a nice pictogram of just a man and just a woman in some unique pose might be more iconic and have more use overall..
