Yes, that is a PNG issue.

It looks like you might also have some margin/padding issues (IE box model problems as well).

Given the kind of text you are using (a staple italic by the looks of it, Garamond perhaps?) everything you are doing there could be (and should be) accomplished with HTML text not graphics.

If you would like to implement transparent PNGs in IE 6, I prefer the SuperSleight hack myself. It loads better over some of the others I've tried.

Thanks Fatbat, the client want the font to say as is and not a browser serif. The SuperSleight hack gets rid of the PNG problem but looks like it causes the IE box model problem as all the elements are strewn across the page in completely the wrong places!

What is that font?

Don't know about the SuperSlight hack causing any problems with positioning. I suggested before that you were already suffering from such an affliction, because when you switch between your two original screen shots things are shifting.

The font is Bell MT. I don't think they're gonna want that as HTML text especially as they use it in their logo.

I'm gonna re-try the SuperSleight hack and set margin and padding to zero wherever I can in the CSS. I think the hack changes the Doctype in order to work (it's xhtml 1) causing it to display in quirks mode causing the IE box model issue.

Thanks for your help Fatbat and PR Design.
