Logo / Brand Design

Hi,

I have just started a business and I have been trying to get someone to come up with a LOGO.

I am starting on a budget, and therefore looked for cheaper custom logos (on ebay)

I have paid for 3 lots already and I am about ready to cry.. Had I paid for a decent logo to begin with, I would have saved money!

This is the latest!




My business is called --- ROYAL BLOODSTOCK --- (and underneath)
---Racehorse Sales --- so I was thinking I could get a spin on a horse and a crown or something that signified royalty.. I dont care if the damn queen was in there! just something that would give me Brand recognition and look good on a Banner Ad.

If anyone thinks they could come up with something decent, please please please let me know!!

I feel for you. Looks like you have wasted a bit of money.
You could do a lot worse than designing your own.
Just copy and crop a pic of a horse and use a basic font. Times roman or something under it. This will do for now.
For your stationary, just use the font (no picture)
Who says you need a pic of a horse anyway. Does B.P have pictures of oil refineries on it's letterhead?
The success or failure of your business in this type of field is not going to be determined by your logo. It will be determined by you.

We developed our logo in house for our N-Prize Team, I truly would like feedback on how we can make it better
remember it has the style of a mission patch
N-Prize is a competition to launch small satellites into orbit, and our company MicroLaunchers develops tiny launch hardware hence the palm of the hand

i dont agree with cropping images yourself or anything of the sort. i wouldn't risk your businesses creditability on the first thing people look at when they see your company, the logo.

those are some pretty bad logos, and if you need help in creating a new one or improving it, i can offer you a good rate, since it seems like you already got ripped off.

if your going to continue the design in-house, you have a lot of work to do...but my suggestion would be to outsource it at this point.

Im not saying it will be one of my greatest designed, but i guarentee u it will be better than the above ones you paid money for, and plus as it's free u have nothing to loose.

I guess i just feel sorry for you that you got completely raped by amature designers - i mean a horse wearing a crown - WTF is that lolololol
