Default Issues with My CSS

I am working to get my portfolio redesigned and i am having a problem with some stuff. This is the first CSS/Div website i have built. Everything else has always been tables. Please take a look:

My contact page does not display the content in Firefox. It does in Internet explorer.

The portfolio page- I cant get the blue link border off the Picture.

Remember this is not completed so there is alot of stuff that may not work or is incomplete.

I can post the content of the CSS file if it is needed.

For the image put this in your css:

Code:
a img{
 border:none;
}
And the JavaScript is to blame for Firefox not displaying. Turn off JS and it works. For the contact form may I suggest this: Free PHP Mail Form — jemjabella.co.uk

Although it appears you don't have the css loaded right now, I imagine you'll eventually have to add a "border:none;" on your image links to remove the blue lines. Can't really tell without it being loaded up.

As for the JS contact page... can't say that's how I would have done it. I would have used a php mailer or cgi form (if available on your host). I think Lead Magnet may be able to discern the JS issues, perhaps.

I think you may need to work on the padding of your content div, it seems to run into the border of y our background design, on my comp anyway.

I like the design but can I ask why you chose such a narrow fixed width?

Your text is fighting for hierarchy. You should introduce some color, alternate font sizes, something. I think you're using too much of the reflection technique on your text without any reason. I don't mind the simple layout, but I think you should find small ways to spruce it up a bit.
And you have a navigation issue in your portfolio section. If I'm in the web section, I have to click portfolio again to select another subcategory. Users generally don't like clicking around so much. Just some thoughts.
