Default Graphic design on namecards

Hi folks,

I'm now searching collection of design on business/name cards on Internet particularly the graphics. Too complicate or heavy graphics is NOT preferred. I'm going to print the cards on Inkjet printer.

Could you please shed me some light. TIA

Ummmm are you simply looking for example of simple cards you can design and then print on a inkjet? Would this be using a business card template set?

Thanks for your response.

I'm searching for both of them, templates which I can edit as well as examples. Thanks

mmmmm there are great books on business card design - I'd get yourself into your local and have a flick through, should give you a cross-section over many many agencies/freelancers etc. As for templates...not sure...

Amazon.co.uk: The Best of Business Card Design: No. 6 (Best of Business Card Design): Blackcoffee: Books

I've seen a previous volume that was quite good, maybe too pricey unless you design a lot of these, which sounds like you don't.

MS Publisher has a whole set of common templates. Additional templates can be found on MS template site (through search).

I think for the "easy" way out that might be your answer, especially if you don't have experience with the professional tools such as Illustrator.

Thanks for your advice.

I did lot of graphic editing >10 years ago before turning to server side. CorelDraw, Corel PhotoPaint, PhotoShop, etc. are not unknown to me. Now I'm running 100% Open Source software, GIMP, Inkscape, etc. GIMP is similar to PhotoShop. Inkscape is similar to Illustrator handling vector graphic.

I don't expect injecting too much time on this simple job. Therefore I start searching around for an easy way to complete it with a few clicks. If I can't find a solution. I'll do it on GIMP for graphic editing and import the image to "glabel" (Open Source Label and Business card editor) or to OpenOffice Writer to finish the job.

Wonderful !!!

On graphics:

GIMP same a PhotoShop even having more features

Desktop publishing
Scribus, KWord, etc

Vector graphics
Inkscape, OpenOffice Draw, etc.

There are many of them out there. I'm NOT working on graphics anymore. I'm now living on server and BI (Business Intelligent). There are plenty of them on Open Source.

Just download them on Internet, FREE to use and FREE to upgrade. Some of them can run on Windows IIRC. Sorry I stopped running Windows long time ago.
