Default Motorsport font required

Hello,

I'm doing some work for a clients that's involved in motor racing although in a corporate way. I'm looking for a font that encompasses this and embodies movement.

The only one I know is Serpentine (italic). Are they're any others?

Hope you're all busy!

Rob

I quite like eurostile with motor work

Serpentine is a great choice, there are some actually motor fonts but many can look too cheesy and not solid enough for identity

Yes, Toon, Eurostile is always good. Not sure with Eurostile italic but will give the normal a go. Thanks!

Might be worth trying a logo that defines other things relating to Motorsports, other than speed. Such as, i dunno, dirt, grit, gleaming paintwork, technical stuff....

Yes you have a point, blueocto. Gleeming paintwork and technical stuff is good. The company name is about 50 or more letters so I'll have to use a font or base it on a font.

I'm gonna try Optima as well...

Thanks for everybody's comments. Any more ideas gratefully received...

If you're going down that sort of route try 'Klavika' or 'FS Albert' - both clean sans in lots of weights with tiny twists.
