Toon...

My eyes go directly to the icon at top right of the logo and then skip to the tagline where the tagline is in color. Keep this in mind....do you want people to do this?

Otherwise I'd say keep it gray.

Due to the way the branding worked out the guy actually uses the coloured icon over the wording now which works very well, so although I had the same thoughts at first it seems a lucky strike on the logo overall.

well the yellow and the red do, blue isn't that bad
