CS3 keyboard shortcuts don't carry from CS2?

Hi Everyone,
There are a few things I'm doing in my brand new CS3 that don't seem to work, can you tell me why or how to fix it if it's a preferences setting?

i'm in illustrator:

option shift click and drag over doesn't duplicate

dragging one side of a box with the direct selection tool won't move that edge out to make the box wider.

it should be just option and click+drag not option shift.

and i dont see why the direct selection tool wouldnt pull a box out if you are grabbing it at a point.

on Photoshop cs3, first go to "edit(on top)" and then click "keyboard shortcuts..." (Alt+Shift+Ctrl+k) for windows.
When keyboard shortcuts window open then you can change Photoshop shortcuts as you want or see all the default shortcuts.
