Are you using a transparency?
Such a simple question for anyone with any graphics experience.
I'm trying to place a simple red logo i drew in illustrator cs3 into a black BG dreamweaver page but keep getting bits of white pixels around the edges of the logo, is this some sort of vector-raster conversion problem?
I tried redrawing the logo in illustrator on a black BG then importing it into the black dreamweaver page but end up getting a thin white rectangular outline around the logo BG.
I am saving the logo.ai using the "save for web" option and have tried a few of the options (gif, png etc...) with only minor improvements. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

If the background is the same as what you're placing it on it should match
A life? Cool where do I download one of those??
try cropping the image, with the logo on the black colour, so it chops off the white edges
That seems to work, but I must be doing something wrong to begin with. I just want to be able to draw something in illustrator and upload it to web, without having to crop it etc...

I have done a temp page of my problem, please visit and advise and notice how the cropped image reveals 2 diiferent shades of black even though both "should" be #00000.
I think you are experiencing some sort of optical illusion on the cropped image... looks fine here. also, no visible difference in the black bg -vs- cropped.
