Default AestheticList |CMS Website

Hi, I've been working on a microsite for some prerelease advertising for my CMS that i've been working on so i made http://aesthetic-design.co.uk/aestheticList/
although obviously it's not finished - i've not made it accessible for non javascript users.

anyway, i was just wondering if you had any ideas for the logo? I'm not much of a graphic designer and was just hoping for some help! what kind of font and styling do you think i should use?

any help at all would be great!
thanks in advance.

Ok generally it's ok. The diagonal lines need to be faded back or dropped on all but the text. It shimmers and that makes your text hard to read. The curve is a interesting feature though. The background images pay no realtion. The red background image is just so unconnected and sudden. I'd either adopt subtle images or very like gradients that work with your page. That way, you keep your colour palette small and your visuals clean...

Well you asked for help on your logo and fonts, but I find the diagonals and backgrounds far to distracting to be honest to get on to that. Generally the logo is quite good.
