Hi Paddy,

Thank you for your constructive comments. Also thank you for leading my attention to the possible printing problems. I am planning to print my logo/illustration in 3 spot colors (Pantone 871C, 202C and Black) and in quite large scale - not smaller than 2 or 3 inches wide. Do you still think that will be illegible?

Regards,
Lars Boye

Hi All,

Thank you for your words of praise regarding my design.
To Zumojuice: I will try to tone the gradients down a tad...

I'm no print expert. But you'll definitely need to test how “Pianist” and the illustration look before you go ordering any large runs.

I think it is a great use of the style and nice color combination

Sorry Paddy, but I disagree on this one. I printed the logo at 3/4 of an inch width and and lines were intact as well as it looks quite nice in gray scale. The only problem that might be had is if you try to make a fax version. If you need one.

I do think that the font could use a little bit of work. I am not a fan of text on an arc but if you are set with it it kinda works. But Toon hit when he said that the O is too prominant I think that you should make your own O use the A maybe as a starting point but that O is not working and it is a good font for this logo.

Good work.

Hi Seedy GD and viggosmor,

I have been trying to alter the "O" (I combined a "U" with a rotated copy of the same letter). Unfortunately, IMHO it didn't help matters. On the other hand, the original O of this particular font might be interpreted as a slight eccentricity which perfectly mirrors the artistic image of myself I am trying to communicate...

To viggosmor: Nice to meet a countryman in this forum. I have visited your Danish website. Impressive work!

Regards,
Lars Boye

Default I love it

Its really nice one thing I would say its a little "washed" but thats not a bad thing as its soft on the eye.

Not that I know anything lol but thought I was "say what I see" in a Roy Walker style.

Really like this... but the O does dominate a little.... but thats as toon said down to the font choice... but i think the font choice makes the logo so all in all really nice!
