logo for new company
vector villains:
 in the 1st stage of design. done in a bout 20 min from sketch to vector. any feedback? logo similar to any you all have seen somewhere? thnx in advance.

I like the one on the bottom left. Definitely villainous! Kind of reminds me of the aliens from Independence Day. (great movie)

The ones on the right are more solid, the ones of the left more visually interesting. I think the ident is really strong, particularly in the top versions, but the text is kind of lost.
I understand that it fits in, but its simply not all that readable at present.

love the bottom left one it has character but you have to emhasize the name more, the one on the right is nice as well, more 'formal' but nice.
try increasing the size of the text a size or two and add some kerning maybe that will help.

Maybe you should try using the font Papyrus.
Other than that the top right I think is the best of these batches. But i really like the angle of the Villainous head. Oh, and totally kidding bout Papyrus, it should be shot.

I like the top right, however I don't know if the type intersecting the mark is adding anything? Maybe it would be better if you just moved the type to the right, so it was not on top of the mark.
The mark is solid though, amazing work.

thnx guys i really appreciate it. it is always good to hear what other artists have to say :). since the mark is solid i will work on the text a bit.

Glad to hear your working on the txt. The T reads as an F my the way.
I think the logo on the top right is the most dynamic, however the mark reads very feminine ( don't know if that is a big deal but your clients, if there are any, might be turned off) where as the bottom right one is the second best and it has he most stability. I would recommend too that you try separating the txt and the mark. overall good concept and great shapes.
