The site is still in beta, so there will be still things that don't work 100%... we have still got a very long list of things to sort. Also try and ignore that its still table based (this will be fixed soon).

Ok. Seems to look good in terms of boxes, general workability. But my first think is that first page. It needs something to keep me there if i stumble on it. At the mo its a little flat with that list of places, and a bit too much like holding pages on sites when you mistype common urls, if you know what I mean.

I quite like the design it's simple enough to hold the content. I would think about using a url rewrite if you can to get rid of the ugly urls and help the Search Engine Optimization of the site after all it's content driven and it will only grow in the future.

url rewrite is defo one of things we are going to look at, for sure. Also got loads of small stuff to do esp for the Search Engine Optimization stuff.
Like non of our pages have any tags .... bad i know, but it will be fixed. 1 of our biggest jobs is also getting all our pages indexed. Not an easy task when we've got nearly 15 million pages lol. But we'll get there.

As for the home page, i see what your saying zumojuice, but the content of that page will be changing all the time. Once our user section is finished, we can start adding business reviews etc etc on the home page.

Soooo much work to do.

Just from an accessibility stand point, the tabs:

Great the content is still viewable with JS off, but maybe go the extra step to label each area, and or add anchors to the tabs to jump to each section.

Looks good though.

You can buy programs that will handle that and put them into compressed site maps that you enter in your google sitemap tool. I use one for here

google can handle 50,000 pages so it splits them into separate sitemaps to download....

So that is 200,000 pages it indexes for here.
