NEW website

Hey everybody,

I have finally updated my portfolio website and would like to know what you all thought. I wanted a simple three page website that displayed my work more than anything else.

- ur gonna get some stick for just using images and not coding tho.
- is the site supposed to not be in the vertical middle because its kind of sitting awkwardly further down imo...

I waiting for the harsh comments from the Web Gurus, but would like some feedback other than that it made up of images "and thats a big no no".

A website is useless if it can't be found, sorry to be harsh but it's the way it is.

well aside from the fact that websites made out of images are a bad idea for numerous reasons, the site loads really slowly for me and I'm on a 5MB connection.

apart from that it looks nice, when it eventually appears and you've got some nice work :)

Google can't read images only text, you have no text meaning it can't tell what your site is about meaning you will receive no traffic from potential clients. You are obviously very good at graphics and logos, why not outsource the site to a real web designer who can design it to standards and even include a little SEO if will pay off in the end.

Kip has a point. Not only is Image only bad for SEO, more (or less, arguably) is the accessibility aspect to it. Text can be resized if I am blind or poorly sighted, Images can't. This is why flash is trying hard to come up to scratch also.

The only other thing would be to pull the site up a bit. It's sitting low on my screen and I nearly need to scroll down to it. I have a laptop mac, and its not massive, but there is all the space and the top!

I think Kip made the only point that is needed, and that being that your site, is not a website, it is a bunch of images and table cells. I agree that you should have had this done by a web designer.

I dont hate it by any means from a design standpoint, but it is useless as a website.
