I would add a little leading between the tag lines, not a fan of touching vertical text

thank you Laura :)
i have no idea why i hadn't noticed that. have updated now.
i've made the letters touching to convey the idea of one thing instigating another, like a catalyst, as that's what the guy said he wants to see. not sure how best to depict that though. tried to do it as well the the colour 'transference'

The letters are kind of all over the place, which makes it difficult to read, I see Catal first, then the y, s & t are like another element. Have you seen the Guinness Tipping point domino advert?, another form of catalyst.

Your on the right track with one thing instigating the next, thats why I put the Guinness advert in my previous post. Try a taller slimmer font, and see how the domino idea works with that. Try to keep the word on one line, legibility is paramount.

It's an improvement but the letters still are too all over the place. It just doesn't flow well to the eye.

Can you not put all the letters on the same base line, see how it looks, and repost it, I want to have a look and see what we can do to get this working for you.

thanks very much both of you :)
they seem to agree with you from their comment but also they're not liking the paint drop thing so i'll have to leave that concept alone all together. but yeah i agree that the text should all be on the same base line. thank you for your help :)
