I was looking at different ways to display my web portfolio and looked at using a popup mootools script like the attached...

home

Do you think it looks a little cheesy? The flaws are that it doesn't centre exactly and the bounce is a little 'full on', any thoughts?

Wow, I like that, However I agree that the bounce is a bit wild - also, have you relaised that even the content image (the website preview) is slightly opaque?

Not sure whether its a go-er or not to be honest....Im liking the idea though....

Updated the javascript today so it should work with the menus included if anybody wants to test and give a little feedback.

Oh that looks so good! Very very nice. I think the pop up is just fantastic.

Can you set your menumachine to hold the drop downs on the sub menus a bit longer.. it's a little touchy.

Also, this is a nice touch.. "mooSlideX.js"

where'd ya come across that MooSlide Box3"?

I found it here while looking for alternative ways to show a web portfolio without using different pages, lightbox wasn't really working the way I needed so I tried this...

mooSlide - ajax based slider - lightbox replacement

Yeah, that's what I was talking about... I like it.

MooTools is really making its way into more and more sites as the developers choice JS library. I noticed it comes as part of Joomla's core now too, which I htought was interesting.
