Default Logo help

Hey All...
I'm a new graphic designer and trying to come up with a logo for a friend of mine. The company is called mad packers. They are movers for college students. Here is what I have come up with. I'm in desperate need of a critique. Any advice or opion is definitely appreciated! Thanks!

It's a nice logo, great for the web, might have issues if it's converted to certain print due to the use of screens and grads but I'm sure you know how it's going to be used.

Well Done

I would make it more like a cardboard box, in color and shape. Right now it's idea for movers onto the Harvard campus. It practically shouts "too expensive" for your budget.

Good looks. But unless it's for upper class clientele -- in which case Mad Packers doesn't fit -- it's a bust for message-to-market match.

Very good point! I think I may have started with the box idea and gone too far with it. Thanks for your input...

Mad is almost invisible. Good if you want it to be know as Packers instead of Mad Packers. As mentioned by Laura, it is good for web or other computer (screen) display. Think and visualize printing it on the vehicle!

I'm not sure I understand.. what vehicle are you talking about? What do you think about the second logo with the black lettering?

I think Wizz means the Movers truck. You know the vehicle they do the moving with. I think the point is that if you put your logo on the side of the truck it's going to look like a brown blob once you get twenty yards away.

Default Yes that is right

Thank you for explaining! Visibility is very important. On business card it will look very nice (and clear) - we should viewing it from a distance.
