Default My Freelance Website

Hey Guys,

I'd love some feedback on my site. I have had the design for a while, and I love having the flexibility of the flash piece in the middle which I can make anything I like rather easily.

so what do you think:

Hey Eric,
For the most part I like it. I think how you organized your portfolio is very clear and looks like it should expand easily. The only thing I think might benefit the design is in the header try switching the placement of the the 3 cubes with the logo and make the orange cube smaller so that it is not so dominant. Right now it feels like my eyes are focusing on the blocks as opposed to the logo.
good work :).

Looks ok... but why Pixelheap - Graphic Design | Creative Development ?

Websites - From one-page "Digital Billboards" to full scale dynamic websites, Pixelheap has a solution that fits your tastes as well as your budget.

How 'bout W3c Validated websites???

and why tricitylinks.com ???

Markup Validation Pixel Heap: FAILED 17 Errors This page is NOT valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional !

Markup Validation Eric Millington Profile: FAILED 4 Errors This page is NOT valid HTML 4.01 Transitional !

The Pixelheap - Graphic Design | Creative Development comes in because I have clients who hire me just to art direct their existing stuff. This entails art direction, consultation, brainstorming sessions. it goes beyond the role of designer.

as for the w3c, that is certainly one of my weaknesses as someone who does print, web and video. thanks for noticing! :)

I was in the dark about w3c valid markup until just this year, its not too late and it turned out to be not as complex as I originally thought so dont give up :)

I love the idea of feeding the blog content onto the home page, a great way to keep the website fresh with new content, upgrade your blog and site at the same time, nice design also

yes definitely start at w3 because it tells you where the errors are, how to fix them and why they are wrong, just whack your url in here: The W3C Markup Validation Service
