Only two things that would change if I was capable of creating work as good as that....I'de move the speech bubble slightly to the right and rotate it slightly anti-clockwise - the other thing would be to add a small glint/shining star on a corner of the golden "TALK" text...

Otherwise though...I like it!!!

Not sure what its promoting, but I find the character black and white a tad odd, I would colour that if you can?
Also "treasure" seems to be too small enough to be relevant? If its called "talk treasure" I would get the text looking more in relation to eachother.
As the heirachy is "Talk" then 'character' then "treasure" at the moment...

I like it but agree the character could use some colour.

It looks a bit like Mickey Mouse actually. Did you intend it to be? If its a parody great! If not you might have the Disney lawyers after you

Well basically, it was just a quick sample for a client, they said they wanted something "Fun" so i decided to go with a cartoon character and used some origniality, however i enjoy the black and white montage to the cartoon character, and when i was getting ready to add color, i really looked at it and thought it had a post modern look. something new-old and flashy perhaps.

But the client basically shot the idea down. wanted something alot more simple and boring.
