Default new site

right, I have actually come up with a site idea that has (imo) potential, this is by no means the finished product, in fact it's nowhere near but I'd like some judgement on it so far. The banner and footer will probably stay as they are, but the content area will undergo some major cosmetic surgery soon :p

I think you need to change it a little bit more.

change the icons to something of your own and change the background and will be good!

dont have the icons enlarge so much either

oh, and flip the grad of the footer upside down to flow in with the header

i'd fix the footer to the bottom - this will purge the stripes a little.

changing the icons and flipping the grad are good ideas + your menu is 100% dependent on js.

You could do that menu in CSS just as well, but that's your choice... I like it.

Yes, the nav is js dependent for the looks, but degrades gracefully and still can be clicked, meaning the links still work, meaning it isn't an issue.

Also, where are your h1 and h2 tags? Google won't like that. Your h tags are supposed to give SEs an idea of the hierarchical structure of your page.

I meant sorted as in... working lol

If i did the menu in CSS I couldn't have the OSx style effect as I currently do, that's why i 'borrowed' the Javascript lol.
