I put this together for a local contractor. He is mostly finish work. This is the design and is obviously not really live at this point, still on my domain.

You need to loose the landing page (it's just another excuse for a lazy user to leave) and some serious image optimisation is needed. I mean, this is 416Kb, my entire site is only 644Kb:

I had planned on doing the image optimization after I got 100% approval from the client, no sense in opimizing the large amount of images here, esp of his example work if it was not all going to be used.

Ok.. image optimization and the landing page is a bad idea. Anything else?

Thats some quality work... RESULTS here and even in 4.01.. NICE !!!

i think the main bg color does not match the menu colors maybe you should try to change one of them to close to each other
