hello,
this is my first work in photoshop.(u can see more in my webblog_ ROCKYdesign)
I am trying to create a logo for a Boiler/heating/gas fitters company (Don't know if these are the correct terms)
i 'm waiting for your comments, to improve my skills(my little skills) with your criticism... :)
my concept is to bring all the things that a boiler company used and put him together in the same image, design it with some "noise" and
finally arrange it with the name.
i hope you can help me out with your comments and critics.

I couldn't tell the logo went with the product.

I would suggest a more stylized, clearly identifiable central image, probably vector lineart style. Here's an example of what I'm talking about.

Yes, it's grunge, but you can clearly see the subject of the composition. Further this can be shrunk in size without becoming a featureless blob.

Grunge takes quite a lot of skill to get right.

yeah, i understand...
i'm question some friends of mine and they all say that...it's to many noise in the design.
other thing they say is that the draw is very dark...
i must improve eheh
