Why do people bang on so much about how people have coded their sites?

As long as the finished article looks great and it works, who cares? Not the client - that is for sure.

The black is great, the smoke is AWESOME - but not too sure about how much work you are displaying in each section, especially icons. You might bore the browser. Also why not drop a few of your weaker logos? You have displayed 16, which may not be necessary. For example 'my cyber centre' is pretty weak, i am afraid.

Loads to work on though, nice work!

Sorry tommylogic, you are of course (always) right - it does not matter how design looks, it is all about how efficiently and quickly the computer displays the completely unimportant content.

In fact, the layout, interactivity, fonts, images, animation and colour of the work in question is a complete waste of time, and as tommylogic rightfully points out, it is what version of XHTML, CSS and PHP you are using that matters. Who cares about what you see? It is all about how standards-compliant your coding is. What you see on the screen simply gets in the way.

I think you are in the wrong business tommylogic, you should have been a robot. A square black and white one with no sound or graphics cards - and that can only perform basic calculations.
