Hey everyone, I would like some feed back on some mocks I just drew up. This is the site I am redesigning.
The Chicago Network - Chicago's Premier Organization of Professional Women And these are the mocks. http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/5517/mock1yb3.jpg http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/6336/mock2jc9.jpg They said they wanted a cleaner look with less txt and that they liked moma.org. Thanks |

They both look like strong designs to me. Personally, I would take the silver colors from the mock1yb3 and use them on the mock2jc9 layout. I think that second layout is better, but I like your graphical elements (like the tabs for navigation) and colors in the first one more. I would say the search box needs to be at the top, too, like you've done with the first.
One little extra note: perhaps you can reconsider your color palette. This organization is a support for women, so you want the colors to be strong, yet feminine. Silver is better than dark blue, perhaps add some purple or red, too. P.S. Your new designs are much better than what they currently have! Great job!

Ah, well, if it's what they want! They're cutting the check
I would choose silver over blue, personally. So much of design really does come down to personal opinion! You can be proud of your designs, though, whichever they choose :)
