Opinions on this Design

This design has caused a lot of argument between my fellow cohorts and I over clarity. We don't think the design is bad (you guys may disagree) but I have my doubts on clarity. What does anyone here think about it? Is it clear that line before the P is an I? Does the two orange letters in the middle take attention away from the C that encloses them?

(Note: the font on the bottom is still up in the air with no real choice yet)

I (personally) don't like it. And all I notice at first was the "P", then after reading Cram It Productions, I saw that it was a "C" and "I". Clarity issues, CHECK!

I don't the design either. It looks like something just made up in 2 minutes.

No.

Does the two orange letters in the middle take attention away from the C that encloses them?

Yes.

yeah i think its blindingly obvious its supposed to be ip and a c but i most definitely agree with Toon about the bevel, they're more outdated than people realise i think :S

I appreciate the honesty. Like I said, I like the general idea of the design but I think in this form it has problems.

This was the original design that I liked much better (aside from the fact that color could help it out a bit and there are a few letter symmetry issues which I will fix if our crew ever decides on something)



I liked this but some of the other members of the crew thought the P was too fat. Personally, I think that is dumb but maybe it is.

Yeah, it seems unnecessary but others in the group prefer it to be there in some designs and not in others. This was one they found it to be necessary in to "thin out" the P and not leave a lot of empty space.
