Also about that page..I would like to see the thumbnails blow up in anything BUT a seperate window. Otherwise the photos are some nice shots.

Yeah, man, it's hard to deny the previous notes. It's not only the ads themselves, it's also the banner and the general Google loyalty.
Is it some kind of full-ad website? If yes - everything is ok, if not - please consider changing something.

No it's not any kind of full - ad site at all! I won't take the Ads off but I will see how to fix that up!
